- memperhatikan cara pengemis meminta-minta di lampu merah sambil bertanya, mengapa? memperhatikan indahnya pelangi sambil bertanya, bagaimana bisa? mengagumi karya lukisan indah nan mahal sambil bertanya, siapa? Be curious about anything, anywhere, anytime.
- bagaimana jika saya menjadi anggota DPR? Apa yang bisa saya lakukan? Mengapa saya berpangku-tangan?”. 

Be empathetic.
- mereka melihat sebuah karya orang lain, menyerap rasanya, menyelami tekniknya. Jika belum pas, mereka akan mencari karya lain lagi, sampai akhirnya mereka kombinasikan cita rasa yang mereka sukai dari apa yang mereka temukan, dengan teknik yang mereka mampu, dengan muatan ide mereka sendiri.
